Meet Ellie

Welcome to His Healing House, a sanctuary where health, hope, and holistic healing come together. When you step through our doors, you might be greeted by a bright, chatty young lady with blond hair and a spark in her eye—Ellie, my beloved daughter and the heart behind our mission. Ellie is much more than a greeter; she likes to call herself my business partner and often gives me lots of her ideas for His Healing House.

In 2010, I was excitedly expecting our fourth child. I’ll never forget the day we gathered as a family in the ultrasound room, eager to learn if we’d be welcoming a baby boy or girl. But as the technician grew silent, my heart sank. Within days, we were swept up in appointments, overwhelmed with frightening diagnoses and warnings. If our little girl survived birth, doctors said, she would face immense challenges and have little quality of life. Yet Ellie defied every prediction and grew into a beautiful, lively young woman who fills our lives with joy and determination.

Ellie’s journey hasn’t been easy. Diagnosed with an encephalocele, hydrocephalus, microcephaly, autism, sensory processing disorder, and optic nerve hyperplasia, she’s had numerous brain surgeries, including her first at just one day old. Over her first ten years, we learned what it means to live in hospitals, to handle emergency surgeries, and to experience the realities of medical trauma. Yet even through it all, Ellie taught us resilience, and her journey inspired me to explore every possible avenue for healing and wellness.

I wish I’d known about holistic healing sooner. While we are deeply grateful for the dedicated doctors who cared for Ellie, I now realize how much more can be done to support the body’s healing beyond conventional treatments. Nutrition, detoxification, and natural therapies have become vital parts of our lives, helping Ellie overcome side effects and find relief from issues like digestion difficulties that once led to hospital stays. This knowledge, and the desire to help others, gave life to His Healing House.

At His Healing House, we aim to help people heal, prevent disease, and reclaim their health. I know the toll of losing health and the freedom that comes with restoring it. Our goal is to meet you wherever you are on your journey—whether you’re facing chronic illness, dealing with low energy, or simply seeking a healthier, more fulfilling life.

We also understand the unique challenges families face when caring for children with disabilities. For this reason, we offer a special disability program for qualifying conditions, with a 20% discount on all appointments for children with disabilities. It’s our way of standing beside you, letting you know you’re not alone in this journey, and sharing the hope that healing is possible.
